Trial Bay Gaol - The Gate

February 04, 2016  •  Leave a Comment

Finally arrived at Trial Bay Gaol, one of my obsessions to shoot in light painting mode, I was lucky enough to shoot two scenes of this beautiful place.

The photos were taken in the same place, but composed differently with maximum care for the available light balance. In the end, the torch power helped me to snow my light beam against a sleepy evening sky, anxious to go to bed. I also managed to twist and sprain an ankle by the end of the shoot... Good Lord, it was an awesome experience, minus the sprained ankle, so painfull...well you get what you pay for or you pay what you get away with, if I can "twist it" in this way :-)

I guess everything has a price! Only you, can tell if it was worth the effort!

Glad to see if you purchase a copy of any of these two images for you or for a loved one to hang on their living room !
